Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons cannabis-infused olive oil (adjust based on desired potency)
  • 3/4 cup water (more as needed)
  • Extra cannabis-infused olive oil for brushing

Instructions:

  1. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until well blended.
  2. Add Wet Ingredients: Create a well in the center of the dry mixture and add the cannabis-infused olive oil. Gradually pour in the water and mix until a dough begins to form.
  3. Knead the Dough: Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, add a bit more flour.
  4. Rest the Dough: Cover the dough with a clean cloth and let it rest for about 30 minutes. This allows the gluten to relax, making it easier to roll out.
  5. Divide and Roll Out: After resting, divide the dough into 6-8 equal pieces. Roll each piece out on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
  6. Cook the Flatbread: Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Place one rolled flatbread in the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes on one side until bubbles form, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until lightly browned and cooked through. Repeat with remaining pieces.
  7. Brush with Oil: Remove the flatbread from the skillet and brush lightly with extra cannabis-infused olive oil for added flavor.
  8. Serve: Enjoy warm or at room temperature with your favorite dips, spreads, or as a base for wraps and sandwiches.
