  3. Form the Gnocchi: On a floured surface, divide the dough into smaller pieces. Roll each piece into a long rope about 1/2-inch thick. Cut the rope into 1-inch pieces, then use a fork to gently press down on each piece to create ridges. This helps the sauce cling to the gnocchi.
